- 3 colours of at least 109 yards each DK yarn or other weight that works with your hook or needles. I used 3 skeins Mirasol Llama Una, 100% llama, 109 yards/50 grams, in Gull, Gold, and Forest. Crochet item will be somewhat smaller than knitted item if you use the same yardage -5.0 mm hook for DK weight. I used a 4.5 mm hook with sport weight, and a 5.5 mm with worsted weight. Basic abbreviations: ch- chain; dc2tog: double crochet 2 together; sp- space; st(s)- stitches; yo- yarn over CLuE 3 Note: A fill-in-the-blank set of instructions are included for anyone working a different number of colours. : 1 pattern repeat=1 colour block.
