MATERIALS
GAUGE
Yarn
26 stitches and 27 rows = 10 X 10 cm in colorwork. Worked in the round with needles 4 mm. "Classic" by Cardiff Cashmere (100% Cashmere. 112 m in 25 gr):

Color 1: 20 gr ( Romeo, C0D: 526) Color 2: 13 gr (Take, COD: 675) Color 3: 20 gr (Tadao, COD: 550) Color 4 : 15 gr (Ayrton, C0D: 684)
ABBREVIATIONS
st(s) = stitch(es). SM = stitch marker; K = knit; P = purl; K2tog = knit 2 stitches together; m1 = make one by picking up one a loop between two stitches and knitting into the back of the new stitch; C1 = color 1; c2 = color 2; c3 = color 3; C4 = color 4. Circular needles (40/60cm) sizes 3,5 and 4 mm. One for adult.
NOTE
Where the yarn has to be carried for more than 4-5 stitches, weave the other color behind by crossing the yarn to avoid long floats on th back. Remember the knitting tension. At the crown you might find it easier to switch to DPNs.
INSTRUCTIONS
The hat is worked in rounds from the bottom-up, decreasing the stitches gradually towards the top. With c1 and 3,5 mm needles cast on 100 sts plus 1; start to work in the round ensuring that the work is not twisted and insert the marker to mark the beginning of the row. (to join in the round: with C1 Ktog the first and the last cast-on stitch). Rounds 1 - 14: \* K1, P1 \*; repeat from \*to \* to the end. Round 15: \* K5, m1 \*; repeat from \*to \* to the end. ( 20 stitches increased making a total of 120 sts).
Change to needles 4 mm.
Follow CHART A from right to left repeating 4 times in total each row. Follow CHART B from right to left repeating 12 times in total each row. Last Round : you will left with 12 sts on your needles, cut the yarn and pull it through the stitches, tighten tog and fasten.
