Confetti Chill
Adorable wrist warmers for grown ups! Simple little leggings for toddlers. A WoollyWagtail design

These adorable leggings pull together a toddlers outit and keep out those chilly breezes. They make equally good adult wrist warmers too! I think they are a great quick gift that you can make in an evening. The 'confeti' fringe makes them super special and is a great way to use up the gorgeous ends of yarn in you stash you just couldn't bare to throw away.

Cut 24 lengths of yarn, 10 cm long each. Use 12 pieces for each legging or wrist warmer. Find the top of your legging / wrist warmer - this will be the end that you have bound off on, as it willbe the stretchiest. In the largest section of rib, where you have 5 rows instead of 4 like the rest, find the centre row of stitches. Using your crochet hook place the hook under both legs of the stitch. With a 10 cm piece of yarn folded in half pull the centre under the stitches, pull the yarn through the loop you have created. Tug gently to secure. Repeat in the stitch below 11 more times (12 pieces of fringe in total)
Do the same for the second legging or wrist warmer.
If necessary you can now trim the ends of the fringe to make them all the exact same length. Happy Knitting WoollyWagtail
