Camden Twist Beanie

Camden Twist Beanie is a beanie hat, available in four sizes from Newborn to Child. The beanie is knit in the round, using set of DPNs or a large circular needle for the magic loop technique. The hat consists of 2x2 ribbing for a stretchy fabric, and features a simple cable. The pattern includes charted and written cable instructions. The Camden Twist Beanie can be knit as a matching set with the Camden Twist Cardigan. Sizes: Newborn, Baby, Toddler, Child. To fit head (35.5, 40.5, 46, 51) cm / (14, 16, 18, 20)

Townhouse Camden Tweed. Pictured in Too Rouge"?. Child size, modelled on 19" head. Pattern requires approximately (85, 108, 132, 160)m / (94, 118, 145, 175) yards 4 ply / fngering weight yarn.

2.75 mm needles, or size needed to achieve gauge. A set of DPNs or a large circular needle for the magic loop technique work equally well cable needle or DPN Darning needle

48 st / 42 rows per 10 cm / 4" in 2x2 ribbing, after blocking & relaxed.

Round 6 - 10: Repeat round 1. Round 12 - 20: repeat round 1.
Instructions
CO (96, 112, 128, 144) sts & join for working in the round. PM to indicate beginning of the round. Work in 2x2 ribbing (K2, P2) for 8 rounds. K2; PM for cable; work cable round 1 from chart or written instructions; \*K2, P2 to end of round. Continue knitting as set, working all 20 rounds of cable pattern 2 times, and rounds 1-11 (0, 0, 1, 1) times more. Continue working with cable pattern rows 12-20 until knitting measures (11, 13, 15, 17) cm / (4.3, 5.1, 5.9, 6.7)". On the next row, RM at beginning of round. Work 2 sts. Your new beginning of round is now at the cable stitch marker. Rearrange the sts on needles if necessary.
