FROG zippered pouch by Character Crochet

Pattern is not to be copied, distributed, sold, or re-posted in any manner. Permission is granted to sell your finished product. Finished pouch will measure approximately 7 inches (17.8 cm) wide by 4 inches (10 cm) tall.
Materials Needed:
Size G crochet hook Stitch marker Yarn needle with large eye Worsted Weight yarn : green, white, black, pink Scissors Piece of fabric size 7 % inches (18cm) wide, by 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall 9" zipper Sewing machine or sewing needle and thread
Terminology:
ch = chain dc= double crochet sC = Single Crochet incr = increase sl st = Slip Stitch decr = decrease \*\*Note: Pouch is worked in continuous rounds. Use marker to identify beginning stitch of each row.

Body of Pouch:
Usegreen yarn Ch 31, insert in 2nd chain from hook (counts as 1st sc), place stitch marker, sc in the round (total of 60 stitches) Rounds 2 - 18 : sc in the round (60 stitches in each round). Remember to move your stitch marker to beginning of each round. Round 19: sl st through back loop only. Fasten off at end of round

Eyeballs:
Using white yarn, make 2 of each Pieces are worked in continuous rounds. Use stitch marker to identify beginning of eachround Round 1: Starting with magic circle, insert hook into center and sc 6 Round2: (inc) work 2 sc in each st (total of 12 stitches) Round3: sc 1 in first st, sc 2 in next st, continue this pattern through end of round (total of 18 stitches) Round 4: sc 1 in each (total of 18 stitches) Round 5: sc 1, dec with every other st (total of 12 stitches) Round 6: sc 1, dec every other st (total of 8 stitches) Fasten off, but leave a long tail of yarn to use later for attaching to pouch.

Eyes: Using black yarn, make 2 of each Round 1: Starting with magic circle, insert hook into center , sc 6, fasten off. Leave long enough piece of yarn, use your yarn needle and stitch to the center of the white eyeballs.

Cheeks:
Using pink yarn, make 2 of each Round 1: Starting with magic circle, insert hook into center , dc 10, close to form a circle. Fasten off leave enough yarn to stitch on front of pouch

Assembly:
Position all pieces on front side of pouch, using yarn needle, stitch into place. Image above shows eyes space apart for demonstration, however, they should be placed in the center top of the pouch touching each other.
Mouth:
Using yarn needle and black yarn, stitch from inside lower center of left cheek, diagonally towards center bottom of pouch, upwards diagonally to inside of lower right cheek, and then back down to center bottom of pouch. Fasten off.

Lining:
Cut out the pattern below, pin to your fabric, and cut. Make note to place one long edge against the fold in your fabric. Stitch end sides of fabric to make a "pocket", fold a cuff at the top, attach zipper and sew into pouch.
