0-6months
Rnd 1: With Prairie Rose yarn and G hook, ch2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. Do not join, but continue in a spiral fashion using a placemarker if desired. (6sc) Rnd 2: 2sc in each sc around. (12sc) Rnd 3: \*1sc in next sc, 2sc in next sc, \* rep from \* to \* around. (18sc) Rnd 4: \*1sc in each of the next 2sc, 2sc in next sc, \* rep from \* to \* around. Row 1: 1sc in each of the next 15sc, ch1, turn. Leaving the rest of the Row2: 1sc in each of the next 10sc. Ch1, turn. (10sc) Row3 : 1sc in each of the next 10sc. Ch1, turn. (10sc) Row4: Sc tog the first 2sc, 1sc in each sc to last 2sc, sc tog the last 2sc. Ch1, turn. (8sc) Row5: 1sc in each of the next 8sc. Ch1, turn. (8sc) Row6: Sc tog the first 2sc, 1sc in each sc to last 2sc, sc tog the last 2sc. Ch1, turn. (6sc) Row 7: 1sc in each of the next 8sc. Ch1, turn. Do not turn, 1slst down left side of earflap to brim. 1Sc in each of the next 24sc(26sc.30sc.33sc.36sc)ch1, turn.
SECOND EARFLAP
Repeat rows 2-9 as for first earflap. Do not turn at end of row 9, but slst down left side of ear flap, 1sc in each remaining sc on brim of hat. Slst to join. Do not fasten off. Continue onto trim
PRAIRIE ROSE TRIM
Rnd 1: 1sc in each st around entire hat. Slst to join. Fasten off prairie rose.
TRIM
Attach hemp yarn, sc in each sc around, When get to middle of ear flap ch31, slst in $2^{\mathrm{nd}}$ ch from hook, 1slst in each remaining ch to brim, 1sc in each sc around to middle of second earflap. Ch31, 1slst in $2^{\mathrm{nd}}$ ch from hook, 1slst in each remaining ch to brim, finish working sc around outer hat. Slst to join. Fasten off. Tie in ends.
FLOWERS
Rnd1: With G hook and hemp yarn, ch5, slst to beg to form circle, ch4, 2trc in circle, ch4, 1sc in circle, (ch4,2trc, ch4, sc) all in circle to form $2^{\mathrm{nd}}$ petal, rep what is in parenthesis 3more times. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew with. Attach to sides of earflaps. You can sell any items that you make from my patterns, but you are responsible for you items.
