Pink leafy scarf
by Sarah Sutherland sarah@parallaxknitting.com $\mathsf{M}_{\mathfrak{y}}$ mother bought this yarn on sale about twenty years ago from a department store that went out of business years ago. It's beautiful yarn, but Ialways have a hard time knowing what to do with novelty yarn - but then apparently so does my mother. I knew she always wanted something out of it, and there was not enough for anything larger, so here is a lacey scarf to show it off.

About the designer
Sarah finally got herluggage back after her holiday trip and can now give the prototype for this design to her mother for Christmas, which was the original plan, and it is only a couple weeks late. This is to be expected when anyone receives handmade presents, and since she got it before it got warm, she should have nothingto complain about.
