Instructions
Cast-on 5 stitches using a long-tail cast-on. Follow charts in order and repeat rows 59-70 until piece is one third the length you want it. The sample was knit with 12 repeats of rows 59-70. Knit rows 141-180 and bind off following special instruction. -All even number rows are purl across and not shown on charts. -Slip the first stitch of every odd numbered row as if to purl. -Slip the first stitch of every even numbered row as if to knit.
Special Notes
Place Bead: Knit the stitch, slide a bead onto crochet hook, lift the stitch and slide bead onto stitch, return stitch to right-hand needle, keep kniting Place bead over two stitches: Follow same instruction as single bead, but lift two stitches, slide bead onto both stitches, Return both to right-hand needle and keep knitting. Be sure you maintain them as two stitches on the next row. Binding Off: Knit two stitches through the back leg of stitch, return them to left-hand needle and knit two together. Knit one through back leg of stitch, return to left-hand needle, knit two together. Continue untilall stitches are used up.
Materials and Finished Size
-Small crystals or beads #5-10, based on the yarn you choose. -Medium Crystals or beads: use for double beads if you want. You can also use one type of bead throughout. -I used #8 square-hole, gold lined Japanese seed beads for all beads. -Lace yarn of your choice. I Used1 skein of Elann Alpaca/Merino lace weight yarn 50gms (600 yards/skein.) -ApprriaefryryatggaugyouldiinMgaastih inch firmly blocked in stockinet stitch. My finished dimensions were 11 inches wide and 51 inches long blocking. It relaxed slightly after I unpinned it. -Appropriate crochet hook for your beads. I used a US #13. -Yarn needle for finishing and T-pins for blocking.
