Gauge:
25 stitches = 4 inches (after blocking) 36 stitches = 4 rows (after blocking)
Instructions:
Cast on 132 stitches with MC. K1 round P 1 Round \*K 1 MC, K1 Cc\* repeat, for 1 round. Work Latvian braid over the next two rows. Bring yarn to the front to purl, and carry yarn along the RS. \*P1 MC, P1 CC\* bringing the yarn up in front of the other strand to work the corresponding color stitch, creating a left leaning twist along the Rs of work. \*P1 MC, P1 Cc\* bringing the yarn underneath the other strand to the corresponding color stitch, creating a right leaning twist. Note: Both Chart A and B have areas with long floats. This can be avoided by twisting the yarn strands together on the wrong side to secure strands into shorter floats when the section of a single color is greater than 6 stitches.
Finishing:
With contrasting color \*k1, k3t\* repeat 3 times. Fasten off and weave in ends. Block.
