Enhanced Corner to Corner Diagonal Dishcloth Pattern with Pointy Corners and Centered Eyelet

Basic Corner to Corner Diagonal Dishcloth

(With extra pointy corners!!)

Pattern illustration

I like knitting dish Cloths and face Cloths. They are great to knit while watching TV or a movie and are a nice break from more complicated items, and they really are the best dishcloths Ive run across. The perfectionist in me wouldn't just let it be when I noticed that the corners made when I transitioned from increasing to decreasing were much rounder than the corners made at the cast on and cast of edges, and that I couldn't get the eyelet at the top to center with simple k2tog decreases. I posted my modifications to the basic pattern on Ravelry, and people must like it because I've got over 1o0 people favoriteing it! I think it's the most popular dishcloth pattern in the database! Materials: Any worsted weight kitchen cotton. I've used Peaches 'n Cream and Sugar 'n Cream. For a great face Cloth, I use Knit Picks CotLin, a DK weight yarn. Needles: Size 7 0r 8 For the CotLin size 5 Gauge: Gauge is not important for this project. Directions: Cast on 3 sts
