Finishing: Using darning needle, weave in ends but do not cut yet. Soak shawl for 20 minutes in warm water, using a small amount of wool wash or shampoo if desired. Rinse if needed. Spin in washing machine to remove excess water, being careful that machine does not begin to fill. Using pins/wires carefully pin out each point of the edging. Allow shawl to dry. Carefully cut loose yarn ends.
