PYGMY PUFF

In the world of Harry Potter, there are cute little creatures called Pymgy Puffs, bred and raised by the Weasley twins. So, just like Fred and George, I made one. Or course this little pygmy puff is not pink or purple, but you get the idea. These cute little creatures are just the ticket for gifts, costume accessories, and desk decorations.

Materials you'll need: -Jo-Ann Sensations Angel Hair yarn. About 50 - 70yds will do the trick. -4 Size US 3 DPN knitting needles. -Stuffing. -10mm Animal eyes. -Darning needle. -A fine toothed brush. Pattern: CO 6 sts Increases: Row 1 and all odd rows - purl Row 2 - kfb every stitch (12sts) Row 4 - \* kfb,k1\* repeat (18sts) Row 6 - \*kfb,k2\* repeat (24sts) Continue in this ascending pattern until you reach 42 sts. Rows 13-19 - Plain rounds. Decreases: Row 20 - \*K2tog, k5\* repeat (36sts) Row 22 - \*K2tog, k4\* repeat (30sts) Row 24 - \*K2tog, k3\* along (24sts) Continue in this descending pattern until you have 12sts left. Then place the eyes to your Pygmy Puff. Do one more decreasing round (you should have 6 sts left). Stuff your Pygmy Puff. Cut the yarn and weave through the 6sts to close the loop. Weave in ends. Almost done! Now all you have to do is take a fine toothed brush (l use a cat brush) and lightly brush your pygmy puff. This will bring out all the wispy fibers in your angel hair yarn, showing no knitted stitches at all. Careful when you brush near the eyes as you don't want to scratch them. That's it! Enjoy your critter! :)
