Skeleton Chart for Small Dog Coats
This chart is meant for use with Skull and Crossbones Coat for Small Dogs, but you can use it anywhere and it is free for use however you like. I just ask that you don't directly copy the chart and then use it in a design you sell without letting me know. If you feel like tossing money at this pattern, please donate that money to your local animal shelter, or donate a bit of time or even knit a coat for them. They could use the help more than I can use the money. The chart worked well in worsted weight on my 8 pound (3.6 kilos) Chihuahua, but could easily be sized up by doubling or tripling each charted stitch. If the coat needs to be shorter, remove a vertebra and add some if it needs to be longer. I added a 5 stitch cast off buttonhole between the 2nd and third vertebra for Gelato's harness, so he could wear the sweater over the top. Let me know if you need a version that is much much bigger (or smaller) and Ill see if I cna't come up with something for you.
