INSTRUCTIONS:
Using Color A, cast on 74 sts. Row I: Knit. Row 2: Purl. Rep last 2 rows until piece measures 7 inches, ending affer a Row 2. Place marker in the last stitch. Continue as set until piece measures 13.5 inches, ending affer a Row 2. Place marker in last stitch. Continue as set until piece measures 22.5 inches, ending after a Row 2. Break Color A, attach Color B. Continue as set until piece measures 27.25 inches from cast-on, ending after a Row 2. Place marker in last stitch. Continue as set until piece measures 40.25 inches from cast-on, ending affer a Row 2. Place marker in last stitch. Continue as set until piece measures 45 inches, ending after a Row 2. Break Color B, attach Color C. Continue as set until piece measures 54 inches from cast-on, ending affer a Row 2. Place marker in last stitch. Continue as set until piece measures 60.5 inches from cast-on, ending afer a Row 2. Place marker in last stitch. Continue as set until piece measures 67.5 inches from cast-on, ending after a Row 2. Bind off. MAKING UP (see schematic below) Match together the second and third markers. Begin sewing the edges together from this point to the first marker. This creates the right armhole. Match together the fourth and fifth markers. Begin sewing the edges together from this point to the sixth marker. This creates the left armhole. The first and sixth marker now meet at the center back. Sew from the markers to the cast-on and bind-off edges. This forms the collar at the back neck. Using matching color, work one row single crochet along front edges to stabilize. Weave in ends. Block.
