Cowls & Hats to Knit and Crochet exclusively for Bamboo So Fine Yarns (Be So Sporty and Be So Fine)
Introduction
Inspired by my son's love of sports and tennis in particular, these beautiful outerwear accessories are named after all of the most important tennis competition locations, including the four Grand Slams, the upcoming Olympics and my son's tennis academy. Each one of these beautiful cowls, hats and shrugs captivates the silky drape and luster of Bamboo So Fine's newest yan, Be So Sporty, a 1Oo% bamboo sport weight yam. Milled, spun and hand dyed in Texas, this gorgeous yam comes in 325 yard skeins. Each project is a one-skein project, except for the shrugs (they take 2 skeins)! Four of the projects are knit and six are crochet. Each one is a simple technique, which makes this a perfect gift for anyone - inlcluding a beginner! They are all easy to wear, and simple to create. Check out Kristin's YouTube channel for tutorial videos on the stitches used in each shaw here: http://ww.youtube.com/user/KristinOmdahl Each project is hand washed for blocking purposes, as well as general cleaning, with Kristin's all natural, no-rinse delicate wash, Wrapture. http://www.eucalan.com/wrapture
