Pre-Rnd 1: Adjustable ring, 10 dc, sl st in beg ch-3, tighten. (10 dc)
Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in same st, 2 sc in each st around, join with a sl st in beg sc. (20 sc) Rnd 2: Chain 7 (as dc and ch-4), \*skip sc, dc in next sc, ch 4\* rep around, skip sc, join with a sl st in beg sc. (10 ch-4 sp, 10 dc) Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same sp, \*(2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc) in next ch-4 sp, sc in next dc\*, repeat around ending with a shell, join with a sl st in beg sc. (10 shells, 10 sc) Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same sp, 7 dc in ch-3 loops, skip 2 sc, sc in next sc, repeat, end with 7 dc in last loop, join in 1st sc. (80 dc) Rnd 5: Sl st to center st of shell, ch 7, sl st in next shell center st, rep around, sl st in sl st at top of shell. (10 ch-7 loops, 10 sl st) Rnd 6: Ch 5 (as dc and ch-2), dc in 2"d chain of ch 7 lp, ch 2, \*dc and ch 2 in every second chain of chains counting sl st as part of the chain sequence\* rep around; join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-5. (40 ch-2 sp, 40 dc) 2trCL--2treble stitch crochet cluster—work a trc to last two loops on hook, work a second trc in same space to last 3 total loops on hook, yo and pull through all three loops. Rnd 7: Sl st in 1st ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, \*ch 4, 2trCL in next ch-2 sp, ch 4, sc in next ch2 sp\* rep around, omit last sc in last rep, join with a sl st in 1s sc. (20 2trCL, 20 sc, 40 ch-4 sp) Rnd 8: Sl st to top of 1" trCL (not counted), \*ch 7, sl st in top of next CL\* rep around, ch 7, join with a sl st in beg sl st. (20 ch-7 sp, 20 sl st) 9th ROW: Ch 4 (as dc and ch-1), skip 1 chain of ch-7 sp, dc in next chain, \*ch 1, sk 1 chain, dc in next chain or in next sl st\*, rep around. Join with a sl st in beg sl st. (80 ch-1 sp, 80 dc)

Rnd 10: Ch 3 as dc, 1 dc in each of the next 10 ch-1 sp and in each of the next 10 dc; \*ch 5, sk 2 ch-1 sp, sc in next dc, (ch 4, sk 2 ch-1 sp, sc in next dc) x 3; ch 5, sk 2 ch-1 sp; 1 dc in each of next 11 dc and in each of 10 ch-1 sp\*, repeat from \* to \* twice more; ch 5, sk 2 ch-1 sp, join with a sl st in top of beg ch-3. (84 dc, 8 ch-5 sps, 12 ch-4 sps) Each ‘unit' has 4 dc, 4 ch-1 sp There should be a ch-5 on either side of three ch-4 spaces. The Popcorns will go in the ch-4 spaces in the next round. There should also be 21 dc on each ^side'. PC—-popcorn—-these are 5 dc popcorns. Work 5 dc in indicated ch-4 space. Pull hook out

Pull the loop through it

Work the number of chains indicated following. This one has a ch-3 between the PC and various chains after (and before) the first and last PC.

Rnd 11: ch 1, sc in same sp, sc in next 20 dc, 2 sc over next ch-5 loop (closest to the last sc), \*ch 4, (PC in next ch-4 loop, ch 3) twice, PC in next ch-4 loop, ch 4; 2 sc over end of ch-5 loop, sc in next 21 dc, 2 sc over end of next ch-5 loop closest to last sc\*, repeat from \* to \* twice more, then sc in last 2 sc, join with a sl st in beg sc. (100 sc, 12 PC, 8 ch-4 sp, 8 ch-3 sp)

The PC will form triangles for the corners. Rnd 12: Ch 1, sc in same st and sc in next 24 sc, \*3 sc in ch-4 loop, ch 4, PC in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, PC in next ch-3 sp, ch 4; 3 sc in ch-4 loop\*\*, sc in next 25 sc\* repeat \* to \* three times more, ending at \*\* on last rep, sc in next 2 sc; join with a sl st in beg sc. (124 sc, 8 PC, 8 ch-4 loops, 4 ch-3loops) Rnd 13: Ch 1, sc in same st and sc in next 20 sc, \*hdc in next 5 sc, 4 hdc over next ch-4 loop, ch 2, PC in next ch-3 sp, ch 2, 4 hdc over next ch-4 loop, hdc in next 5 sc\*\*, sc in next 21 sc\*, repeat from \* to \* two times more, then from \* to \*\* one time, join with sl st in beg sc.
