Cabled Neck Warmer

Materials:
Approximately 4 oz buiky yarn (approximately 64-85 yaras) The natural version of this neck warmer was knitted with Big Berella Bulky by Bernat (an acrylic blend which is no longer available but has a gauge of 3 stitches per inch). The burgundy neck warmer was knit with Wool-Ease Thick and Quick by Lion Brand which has a gauge of 9 stitches and 12rowsto $4^{\prime\prime}$ . You should be able to substitute any bulky yarn with a similar gauge. You may also use a double strand of a lighter (worsted) weight yarn. This pattern knits up beautifully with bulky alpaca or a double strand of dyed organic cotton. Size $^{10\ ^{1}\!/\!_{2}}$ needles One cable or double pointed needle Two buttons approximately $\%^{\prime\prime}$ in diameter.
