Up the Ladder

A very easy, quick and funky scarf.
Notes:
Any weight yarn could be used for this scarf as the stitch numbers can be easily adapted. I think the colourful, space-dyed and self striping yarns work well for this scarf due to the quirky nature of the design. Having said that, I haven't tried it with a solid colour yarn.
Materials:
2 Skeins Mirasol Hacho; shade 327, Parisian Nights; (50g = 125mtrs). 4mm needles.
Instructions:
Cast on 40sts. Work 10 rows in st st. Next row(RS): k10, cast off 20, k10. Next row: p10, cast on 20, p10. Repeat these 12 rows until scarf measures 250cm/99in - or until desired length.
