Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, sc in next ch 3 loop, dc in next 2 dc, ch 3, sc in next dc, ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, sc in ch 3 loop, dc in next 2 dc, sc in next st, ch 29 (38) 47, sk the next ch 3 loop and shell2 (3) 4 times. Sk next ch 3 loop, sc in $3^{\mathrm{rd}}$ dc on next shell. Continue to work rest of row in established pattern. Next row: Ch 4, sc in ch 3 loop, 5 dc in next sc, sc in next ch 3 loop, ch 3, sc in next ch 3 loop. Continue in established pattern starting with row 2 until approximately 26 (27) $28^{\bullet}$ or until desired length worked. Fasten off. Second side: Working on the other side of foundation chain, work as for first side. (as shown in Fig 4.)

Cotton Candy Shawligan Sleeve: In the symbol diagram below the chain stitches are actually the chain stitches on the opening of the main piece, join the yarn there. Work around the opening, noting the blue symbols are where you join the rounds with a slip stitch. The arrow shows where to join your yarn. Note: Some rows have a green stitch, showing the last stitch in that row. Please read the whole sleeve chart before you start for correct placement of stitches. Note the circular arrows at the top of the diagram. The sleeve shown in the photo is approximately 11"'; you may choose to work $18^{\circ}$ for the longer version or until desired length.
