Spring Bloom Shrug

This beauty just joined our family and to celebrate her homecoming I just had to make her a shrug. She said I should offer it free to all the dogs out there so you can thank Bella for the free pattern! She also says when you get this shrug made and try it on your fur baby to please send her a picture on facebook or link it in your projects on Ravelry. She is really looking forward to seeing all the happy loved pups that gettowear this! Finished Measurements: 19" Lx 5" H Shrug 3" W for flower Gauge: 3.25 sts x 4.5 rows per inch Hook: 4mm Circular 4.5mm Straight 4 mm DPN Yarn: Caron Simply Soft Shown in pattern: Color A: Watermelon Color B: White Color C: Orchid Color D: Soft Pink Any soft worsted that you have on hand will work for this. Assembly:
Shrug Cuff: Seam together first 9 stitches on each end of shrug. Try to seam front loop on one side to back loop on the other. You will see what I mean when you go to seam the cuff. It will make it follow the pattern laid out by the ribs made from the blo stitches. Flower: Using the tail left from Center of Flower, pull snug to close magic circle well, thread needle and pull through the center of Flower 1. Holding the tail from the flower out of the way, sew center to Flower by following around the stretched stitches along the base of the petals. Up in one stretched st, down into the next, around. Finish off. Using the tail from Flower 1, pull snug to close magic circle well, thread needle and pull through the center of Flower 2. Holding the tail from Flower 2 out of the way, sew Flower 1 to Flower 2 by following around the stretched stitches along the base of the petals on Flower 2. Up in one stretched st, down into the next, around. Finish off. Using the tail from Flower 2, sew flower to shrug where your dog's shoulder is. You should have gotten the measurement for the placement from above. Bella's is placed at 6.5" from cuff to center of flower.
