Undercurrents Shawl
An original design by Lahoma Nally-Kaye

This shawl pattern perfectly harmonizes with the deep watery tones of this gorgeous tonal sock yarn. When crocheted in this soft, springy sock yarn, Undercurrents is light weight and has beautiful drape and the stitch pattern really makes the color changes pop.
Materials:
Gosh! Yarn, Cadence Tonal Sock Yarn - colorway "Torch Lake" 2 balls (\~650-700 yards) Alternate - Gosh! Yarn, Sui Generis 150g skein - 100% Blue Faced Leicester wool (The BFL skeins are 650 yards which should be enough for this particular pattern) Crochet Hook size "E"-3.5mm Yarn needle, blocking mat and pins
Special Stitches:
6dc cluster - Yarn over, insert hook into indicted stitch and draw the yarn through 2 loops on hook (you will have 2 loops left on the hook), yarn over and insert your hook into the next stitch and draw the yarn through 2 loops, leaving the rest of the loops still on the hook - do this 4 more times until you have worked a partial double crochet into 6 stitches - you will have 7 loops on your hook - draw the yarn through all 7 loops on the hook and ch1 to lock the stitch. This ch1 does NOT count towards the 7 ch betweenclusters.
Abbreviations:
Dc - double crochet Sc - single crochet Skp - skip Ch - chain Slp - slip stitch
