Havirland Minis Shawe by Hdriana Bon

This is a very simple shawl that aims to highlight the wonderful yarns created by the talented Carol aka Havirland. It features a simple top down construction knit in stockinette with garter ridges. In my case, speckled yarns make the stockinette portion and the garter ridges are knit in solid yarn. In order for the edges not to curl, the first and last 2 stitches are worked in garter stitch and therefore will be knit on both the right and the wrong side. The number of stitches is increased by combining make one left and right stitches at either side of the central stitch. Yarn: Havirland yarns Halloween minis set. You can purchase your own set of minis here Gauge is not crucial and you should use whatever size needle gives you the drape you want. I used 4 mm 32" circular needles. I suggest using a 5 mm needle for a more relaxed bind off. You will need 4 stitch markers to indicate the 2 stitch edges and the center stitch. Increases will be made before the first center marker and after the second center marker. Abbreviations: C.O. - Cast on K - knit P-purl PM - place marker SM - slip marker M1R - Make 1 right M1L - Make 1 left
Notes:
Make 1 left and right are not as scary as they look. These are my favorite tutorials for both stitches. Make 1 right Make 1 left
