YARN

Note:yarnishelddouble Holst Garn Noble; 95% geelong wool, 5% cashmere; 333 m/364 yards per 50 g skein MC (Charcoal) 200[230, 260] m/220[250, 280] yards (without pom pom) CC1 (Quary), CC2 (Blue Stone), CC3 (Flint), CC4 (Whisper), CC5 (Cygnet) approx 50 m/55 yards Note: If you would like to substitute the yarn, look for a sport weight; wool or wool blends are ideal. If you choose to use a sport weight, yarn is heldsingle

NEEDLES

A 40 cm/ 24-inch 3 mm/US #2.5 circular needle A40 cm/ 24-inch 3.75 mm/ US #5 circular needle A set of needles for working smallcircumference in the round (DPNs,1 long circular or 2 short),3.75 mm/US #5 circular needle Optional: a 3.75 0r4 mm / US# 5 or #6 straight needle for the long tail tubular cast on Note: Stranded knitting has a tendency to have a tighter gauge, so for the color work you may need to adjust your needle size to obtain gauge
