Three Needle Bind Off Shouider Join
Put right front and back stitches onto each end of the circular needle. Hold the two needles together (with right sides together). Using a single point needle of the same size, put right needle through first stitch on front needle then through second stitch on back needle, knit as usual. Repeat for second stitch. Two stitches now are on right needle. Lift right-most stitch over last stitch knit and off the needle. One stitch now bound off. Repeat across each shoulder.

I-Cord
Using double-point needle, cast on 4 stitches. Knit one row. Without turning needle, slide stitches to other end of needle. Knit the same stitches, pulling the working yarn to draw the two edges together. Repeat in this manner to desired length.
