By Sarah Jo Burch Named after Anne Bonny, a female pirate who cruised the Caribbean with Calico Jack in the 1700s, this versatile linen skirt is increased evenly on four points and finished with a deep, simple lace ruffle, reminiscent of an antique handkerchief.

Claudia Handpainted Linen Sportweight 3 [3, 4, 4] 270yd hanks color Honey Claudia Handpainted Linen Laceweight 1 [1, 2, 2] hanks color Maple Leaf 4 stitch markers, 3 alike and 1 different for beginning of round Gauge: 7 stitches x 8 rows in 1 inch of stockinette stitch Sizes: XS [S, M, L] Measurements: 28" [31, 34, 37] waist, 22” [23, 24, 25] 1ong Cast on 196 [216, 240, 260] stitches. Work flat in stockinette for 8 rows, pm and join for working in the round. Purl one round, then knit for 7 rounds. Knit the stitches in the next row together with the corresponding cast on stitch to close elastic casing, placing markers every 49 [54, 60, 65] stitches.
