Gasolino: maglioncino a raglan per bimbi
Gasolino é il soprannome che mio marito ha dato al nostro bimbo: sempre in movimento, sem- bra che vada a benzina! Per bimbi cosi ci vuole un maglioncino super comodo, che si infili senza dif- ficolta e non abbia cuciture che tirano. La soluzio- ne é presto detta: tecnica di lavorazione in tondo con due ferri circolari, dal collo in giu, con le maniche a raglan che si allargano a poco a poco. E poi, bordini arrotolati per una speciale estensibili- ta. In ultimo, per la gioia delle mamme (o nonne, 0 di chiunque lo esegua..), righe colorate da creare con tutti gli avanzi di lana o cotone che ingombra- no i ripostigli! Io ho utilizzato come base il filato in cotone Marina della Grignasco e poi tanti rimasu- gli di vario colore con grossezza simile, ottenendo una taglia giusta per bimbi di 2 anni. Vi propongo altri due filati che con lo stesso numero di maglie consentono di arrivare a taglie diverse, per 1 anno (sempre in cotone) e per 4 anni (in lana).

Esecuzione
Con un solo ferro circolare del diametro inferio- re avviare 100 m. (queste maglie formano il collo). Passare meta delle maglie sull'altro ferro circolare di pari diametro e unire per la lavorazione in ton- do. Marcare linizio del ferro con un anellino (oppure fare riferimento al filo d'avvio che pende). Lavorare a maglia rasata in unico colore per 15 ferri. Passare ai ferri circolari di diametro superio- re e iniziare a suddividere le maglie per formare le maniche, il dietro e il davanti. Per rendere piu semplice questa suddivisione ho scelto di lavorare le maniche iniziando e terminando i punti di cia- scuna manica con un rovescio. Impostare quindi il primo giro come segue:
→ 1 rov, 13 dir, 1 rov (prima manica); $\rightarrow35$ dir (dietro); →1 rov, 13 dir, 1 rov (seconda manica); $\rightarrow35$ dir (davanti). Procedere cosi:
Giro con aumenti
→1 rov, 2 dir, 1 aumento intercalato (sollevare il filo di unione fra l'ultima maglia lavorata e quel- la ancora da lavorare, metterlo sul ferro sinistro e lavorarlo a diritto ritorto), 9 dir, 1 aum int, 2 dir, 1 rov (questa é la prima manica che si comincia ad allargare...); $\rightarrow2$ dir, 1 aum int, 31 dir, 1 aum int, 2 dir (questo é il dietro che si allarga anch'esso). Ripetere per formare la seconda manica e il davanti.
Giro senza aumenti: Tutto a diritto.
Ripetere questi due giri, ricordando che nel giro con aumenti questi vanno sempre posizionati all'e- sterno dei gruppi di maglie $^{\ll2}$ dir, 1 rov, 2 dir>》. Dopo 13 giri di aumenti iniziare a lavorare a maglia rasata a righe seguendo l'alternanza dei colori specificata prima. Potete naturalmente modificare le righe come preferite, ricordate pero di replicare la sequenza in maniera identica nel corpo e nelle maniche. Eseguire in tutto 25 giri di aumenti. In totale si avranno 3o0 m suddivise sui due ferri circolari. Di queste maglie 65 (contate partendo e terminando con il rovescio) sono relative a ciascuna manica, 85 sono per il davanti e altre 85 per il dietro. A questo punto infilate meta del filo di colore contrastante nell'ago e passatelo nelle $65\:\mathrm{m}$ . della prima manica scaricandole dal ferro (in questo modo vengono messe in sospeso). Continuate a lavorare normalmente le 85 maglie del davanti. Mettete in sospeso sull'altra meta del filo di colore contrastante le $65\,\mathrm{m}$ dell'altra manica scaricando- le dal ferro, e poi lavorate normalmente le $85\mathrm{~m~}$ del dietro. A questo punto, di fatto, la lavorazione continuera in tondo solo su $\mathbf{170\;m}$ , che sono il die- tro e il davanti insieme. Proseguite sino a terminare il motivo a righe. Passate ai ferri circolari di diametro inferiore e lavorate 15 f. a maglia rasata in bianco. Chiudete tutte le maglie. Per eseguire le maniche rimettete le $65~\mathrm{m}$ sui ferri circolari di diametro maggiore, suddividen- dole (diciamo 32 su un ferro e 33 sull'altro). Pro- seguite lavorando a maglia rasata a righe ripren- dendo il motivo da dove era stato interrotto. Arrestatevi in corrispondenza dei 3 ferri in gial- lo alla fine (che eseguirete) e passate ai ferri di diametro piu sottile. Lavorate in bianco 9 ferri a maglia rasata e chiudete. Eseguite identicamente l'altra manica. Con un po' di pazienza fermate con l'ago, sul rovescio del lavoro, tutti i fili in corrispondenza dei cambi di colore. I bordini si arrotoleranno da soli per effetto del- la lavorazione a maglia rasata.
English Version: Gasolino
Gasolino is the way my husband calls our kid: he's always playing and running, he seems to have fuel inside! For similar kids a special sweater is needed: comfortable and seamless. The solution is easy: a raglan top down, knitted in rounds with two circular needles. Moreover, special rolled bor ders give an extra extensibility. The sweater has a simple striped pattern, useful as a stashbuster. I have used cotton yarn Grignasco Marina and various other yarns with similar tension, obtaining a 2 years size. I propose two other yarns with different thickness which allow to have 1 year (cotton yarn) and 4 years size (wool yarn).

Patterns
$\Rightarrow$ Main color stockinette stitch: work in rounds with main color in stockinette stitch. $\Rightarrow$ Striped stockinette stitch: work in rounds in stockinette stitch, changing color as follows: 4 rows with green, 7 rows with white, 2 rows with green, 4 rows with white, 3 rows with blue, 7 rows with white, 5 rows with violet, 4 rows with white, 2 rows with yellw, 8 rows with white, 5 rows with yellow, 4 rows with white, 4 rows in light blue, 3 rows with white, 2 rows with violet, 6 rows with white, 4 rows with blue, 4 rows with white, 1 row with blue, 7 rows with white, 3 rows with yellow, 6 rows with white. When changing color, make a knot to prevent holes.
Directions
With smaller circular needle cast on 10o sts (these sts form the neck). Slip half the sts on the other circular needle of same size and join to work in rounds. Mark beg. of row with a stitch marker if you prefer, or keep track of beg. of row looking at cast on thread. Work in main color stockinette stitch for 15 rows. Change to bigger circular needles and start working inc. for sleeves, back and front. To make this easier I have chosen to start and finish each sleeve with a purl st.
On first row knit as follows: → p1, k13, p1 (first sleeve); $\Rightarrow$ k35 (back); $\Rightarrow$ p1, k13, p1 (second sleeve); $\rightarrow\mathrm{k}35$ (front). Continue as follows:
Row with increases
$\Rightarrow$ p1, k2, M1 (make 1 increase), k9, M1, k2, p1 (this is the first sleeve which starts widening...). →k2, M1, k31, M1, k2 (this is the back widening too...). Repeat to form the second sleeve and front. Row without increases: knit. Repeat these two rows, making inc. externally of the group of sts 《k2, p1, k2>. After 13 rows with inc. begin with striped pattern. You can obviously change the stripe pattern as you like, but remember to repeat the pattern identically in the sleeves and in the body. Knit 25 rows with inc. in total. At last you will have 3o0 sts divided on the two circular needles. Of these sts, 65 are related to each sleeve (begin ning and finishing with the purl st), 85 are related to the back and 85 for the front. Thread half the scrap yarn on the threading needle to keep on hold the 65 sts of the first sleeve. Continue to knit 85 sts of back. Keep on hold the other 65 sts of the second sleeve and knit the 85 sts of front. From this point you will knit only the 170 sts of back and front in rounds. Go on knitting the multiringel pattern until the end. Switch to smaller circ. needles and knit 15 rows in main color stockinette st. Cast off all sts. To knit the sleeves, slip the waiting 65 sts of one sleeve on the bigger circular needles, equally parted (let's say, 32 sts on one needle, and 33 on the other). Go on knitting with the striped pattern from when you interrupted it. Stop when the pattern says: ${\ll}3$ rows with yellow>, that you will knit. Switch to smaller circ. needles. Knit 9 rows in main color st. st. and cast off. Knit identically the second sleeve. Weave in all loose ends inside where color changes. Borders will roll because of st. st.
