Another Textured Moebius
A zigzaggyknits design The twist of this cowl drapes beautifully when simply hung from your neck. When doubled, the cowl forms layers that embrace your neck and shoulders. Whichever way you choose to wear it, you don't have to be concerned that "the wrong side" of the cowl will show. There is no wrong side. The textured fabric is reversible !!
Materials:
Yarn: approximately 100 grams of aran weight yarn. I used 2 skeins (254 yards) of Tahki Yarns “Mimosa" for a 7" x 47" cowl and had only 3 inches of yarn left. If you find you are running low on yarn, bind off in the 26th round, rather than the 27th. Circular Needle: a long US7 circular needle, or size to achieve gauge, keeping in mind that you want drape, not a firm fabric. I used a 40" long needle. One stitch marker (to mark the beginning and end of each round). designed by Laurel Brandt October 2014
Gauge:
17 stitches = 4 inches. Seed Stitch (with even number of stitches): Row 1: \*Knit 1, purl 1 ... repeat from \* to end of round. Row 2: \*Purl 1, knit 1 ... repeat from \* to end of round. Row 3: Repeat row 1. Mobius Cast-On: See Cat Bordhi's video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVnTda7F2V4
