Instructions
The wrist warmers are knitted in the round. You start from the "finger side" and knit towards the wrist. Repeat the instructions within the brackets the amount of time following, e.g. [k2, yo] \* 4 means that you k2 + yo a total of 4 times. Cast on 55 stitches. 3startuprounds: Rd 1: k5, [pb-k, k10] \* 4, pb-k, k5 Rd 2: [k5, yo, k1 (in the beaded st from previous round), yo, k2, sl-k2tog-psso] \* 5 Rd 3: k1, pm (marks beginning of round), k to marker Continue with rounds 4-12 below. You now have knitted one pattern-repitition. Then repeat rounds 1-12 below 6 times (or as many as you prefer) = a total of 7 pattern-repititions: Rd 1: rm, k1, pm, k5, [pb-k, k10] \* 4, pb-k, k5 Rd 2: sm, [k5, yo, k1, yo, k2, sl-k2tog-psso] \* 5 Rd 3: rm, k1, pm, knit to marker Rd 4: sm, [k4, yo, k3, yo, k1, sl-k2tog-psso] \* 5 Rd 5: rm, k1, pm, k to marker Rd 6: sm, [k3, yo, k5, yo, sl-k2tog-psso] \* 5 Rd 7: rm, k1, pm, k2, [pb-k (in the yo of previous round), k10] \* 4, pb-k, k8 Rd 8: sm, [k2, yo, k1, yo, k5, sl-k2tog-psso] \* 5 Rd 9: rm, k1, pm, k to marker Rd 10: sm, [k1, yo, k3, yo, k4, sl-k2tog-psso] \* 5 Rd 11: rm, k1, pm, k to marker Rd 12: sm, [yo, k5, yo, k3, sl-k2tog-psso] \* 5
Instructions for the chart
Cast on 55 stitches. Repeat the chart inside the green box 5 times for every round.
Pattern-repetition 1
Begin with the chart for startup rounds 1-3. Continue with round 4-12 in the big chart. Pattern-repititons 2-7 (or as many as you prefer) Follow the big chart.
Cast off/blocking
Cast off, I recommend Jeny's surprisingly stretchy Bind-Off (see link in the bottom). Weave in ends. Block the cuffs but only stretch them on the length and to get more pointy "edges" (on the side you started knitting) pull out the 5 edges a bit.
