Popcorn stitch spot version
RS: knit ws: purl RS: purl WS: knit β Polka Dot Bubble The mosstitch border can be omitted if you plan to include the square in a blanket or something. Polka Dot Bubble (a modified version of the popcorn stitch) is a simple way to create a. bobble-like texture by only working in one stitch on the right side only. For each one, knit, purl, knit, purl, knit into the same stitch, then slip the additional stitches over the final, one by one starting with the one furthest from the tip of the needle. You can adjust the size, creating larger and smaller bubbles by randomly doing k,p,k or k,p,k,p instead. A photo of this version is found on the front cover of this pattern.
