"One of the joys of teaching and knitting is participating in the warmth of knitting with others and experiencing its healing and supportive powers." Linda can't remember when she didn't knit. She has taught locally and regionally and has been fortunate to study with nationally and internationally recognized knitters. She loves to lead students to the joy of knitting and then watch them become independent knitters, helping them create their own designs and make decisions about how they want to adapt patterns Her special passions are cables, lace and two color knitting such as Fair Isle and Scandinavian patterns. She also spins, weaves and quilts but if, perish the thought, she had to decide on one activity, it would be knitting. Linda is married, has 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 granddaogs. She now lives in Northern Pennsylvania with her husband, Mike, and Chocolate Lab, Muddy Waters. She has taught knitting at Knit One in Pittsburgh, PA, the Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet Festival, .Chautauqua Institution, and currently teaches at olga's in Coudersport PA and conducts Does a Bear Knit in the Woods? Retreats in north central PA. facebook.com/artsyknits ravelry: artsyknits Clvossplummer2012
