Karl's Socks
With feet the size of an overgrown Sasquatch, my brother can be very, very picky. I wanted to knit him socks, and he looked at me skeptically: “They'll be, like, normal, right? So, the goal here was to create a sock that was both interesting to knit and which my brother would actually wear--one with a subtle pattern in a solid color. SIZE Manly sized feet. (Adjustable, by adding or subtracting length to the foot or leg)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Leg: 9 inches Foot: 9 inches
MATERIALS
I used Louet Gems fine/sport weight 100% Merino Wool 225yds/100grams. Color: Navy, but any sock/sport weight yarn would do. My brother is a bit hard wearing on socks, so I chose the Louet sport (It's thicker and hopefully will last longer). 1 set(s) US #1/2.25mm doublepoint needles 1 set(s) US #2/2.75mm doublepoint needles notions required: tapestry needle, stitch markers for beginning of round
