This sock pattern was invented in the pursuit of simplicity. My daughter Rachael is expecting Sunny in December of 2010. Sunny is my first grandbaby and in anticipation of her arrival and the grandbabies to come I wanted a simple and elegant pattern that I could memorize and knit at will. Size: 0-3 months Skill Level: Intermediate - Experienced Preparation: Go to YouTube and watch Cat Bordh's video: wrapping & turning, concealing wraps Supplies: This pattern can be knit with 4 DPNs, 2 Circular needles or 1 Circular needle (24 inches or longer) using the Magic Loop method. I used US size 3 DPNs and US size 2 circulars to obtain a gauge of 7 stitches per inch in stockinette. 50 yards of Sock weight elastic yarn per sock. I recommend Paton's Stretch Socks Yarn. I like the Paton's because it is $80\%$ natural fibers, inexpensive, easy to find and does not require a special laundry protocol. If you are giving these to a new mom, use yarn that does not require special attention. $\circledcirc$ One skein will yield 4 socks. A yarn needle
