· Color sequence: Two strands of yarn are held together throughout entiregarment asfollows: 2 strands of A until piece measures approx 4%" from beginning; 1 strand each of A and B until piece measures approx 8y" from beginning; 2 strands of B until piece measures approx 12%" from beginning; 1 strand each of B and C until piece measures approx 17" from beginning; 2 strands of C until piece measures approx 21%" from beginning; 1 strand each of C and D until piece measures approx 25x" from beginning; 2 strands of D for remainder of piece. ·Eyelets are worked on every 4th row (RS rows) along body, armholes and neckline. STITCH GLOSSARY

Sssk: Slip 3 sts separately knitwise to RH ndl. Insert LH ndi into these 3 sts from left to right and knit them tog. Ssp: SI 2 sts separately knitwise to RH ndl. SI these 2 sts back to LH ndl, maintaining "twisted" position. Insert RH ndl through back Ips into the second, then the first st. P2tog. BACK

With 2 strands of A held tog, cast on 133 (142, 151, 160, 169) sts. Work in Garter st for 4 rows, inc 15 (16, 17, 18, 19) sts evenly on last row-148 (158, 168, 178, 188) sts. Change to St st. Work fullyfashioned body decreases with eyelets (see Notes) each end every 4th rows 30 times (15 eyelets), at the same time changing colors after every 4%" (see Notes)-88 (98, 108, 118, 128) sts rem. Work even making eyelets (without decreases) every 4th row until back measures 21%" from beg, ending after WS row.

Shape armholes

Bind off 4 (6, 8, 9, 10) sts at beg of next 2 rows, then 2 (3, 3, 3, 4) sts at beg of following 2 rows. Continuing the color and eyeletpattern as established and keeping outer 3 edge stitches in garter stitch, work fullyfashioned armhole decreases (see Notes), each end every row 1 (1, 2, 4, 5) times, then every other row 5 times,-64 (68, 72, 76, 80) sts rem. Shape neck

Place marker between 2 center sts. Work to 6 sts before center marker, work fuilly-fashioned neck dec (see Notes); join second ball of yarn, work fully-fashioned neck dec, work to end row. Next Row (WS): K3, purl across to 3 sts before marker, k3; for second side of neck, k3, purl across to last 3 sts, k3. Repeat last 2 rows working fully-fashioned neck decs every other row 15 more times, ending with a WS row. Beg shoulder shaping when piece measures 29 (291/2, 30, 301/2, 301/2)" from beg, ending with a WSrow.

Shape Shoulders

Bind off 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) sts at beg of next six rows, then 4 (3, 5, 4, 6) sts at beg of following 2 rows.
