This precious little blanket created in tapestry crochet is a small work of art for that special little doll in your child's life. Skill Level: Intermediate
Materials Needed:
Baby cotton (100% cotton); 1 % oz/50g; 1 skein each light pink (A) and white (B) and dark pink (C). Size G/6 (4.25mm) crochet hook Gauge: 5 sc= 1"; 5 rows = 1" Notes: Yarn used in photo project is Paton's BumbleBee Baby Cotton Carry thread of color not in use under stitches until needed. To Begin: With color A, ch 34. Row 1-Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea ch across; turn (33 sc) Row 2-Ch 1; sc in ea sc across; turn. (33 sc) Row 3-Rep Row 2. Row 4-Ch 1; sc in 1st 16 sc; change to color B; sc in next sc, change to color A; sc in ea sc to end; turn. (33 sc) Rows 5-30-follow chart. Fasten off.
Edging:
Rnd 1-With RS facing, attach color C with sc to 1st st in last row, ch 1, 2 sc in same st for corner; \*sc in ea sc across to last st and work 3 sc in this st (corner); now working along ends of rows, work sc evenly to last row; 2 sc in this row end for corner; rep from \* once, ending with sl st in 1st sc; attach color A. Rnd 2-Work as for rnd 1 placing 3 sc in middle sc in each corner.
