Chloe's Ruffle Skirt
XS 4/5(S 6/7, M 8/9, L 10-12) \*This skirt can be made in any size desired, simply increase or decrease row 1 by four st to the size desired, and increase the length to the length desired to create a customized size. The instructions will stay the same throughout. The changes in row notations for the sizes only change due to lengthening the skirt. They're just provided for convince, but the pattern could easier just say "next row" or "next 3 rows" etc.
Materials:
1/5.50mm hook F/3.75mm hook for cord Worsted Weight Yarn, I used 2 skeins of "Watkin's Sheep Farm Happy Endings". 2skeins (about 400yds) [3skeins, 3skeins, 4skeins]

Tapestry needle Scissors Gauge: 4" = 13 St across 0r 4"= 11 HDc rows
Special Stitches Needed:
FSc (Foundation Single Crochet): Ch2. Insert hook into 2nd chain from hook, draw up loop. YO, draw through 1 loop on hook (base chain), yarn over, draw through two loops on hook. \*lnsert hook into base chain, draw up loop, YO draw through 1 loop, YO, draw through both loops\* repeat to total number of desired FSc. FPDc (Front Post Double Crochet): YO, insert hook from front to back behind post of next stitch (pushing post to front), YO, draw up loop, YO draw through 2 loops on hook, YO, draw through last 2 loops on hook.

Row 1: FSc 68(72,76,80), Join with slst to top of first FSc. Row 2: Chain 3 (counts as first DC here and throughout), FPDc around next st, \*Dc in next st, FPDc around next st\* Repeat to end. Slst to top of Ch3. Row 3: Ch3, FPDc around next FPDc, \*Dc in next Dc, FPDc around next FPDc\*Repeat to end, Slst to top of chain 3. next st,\* Sc in next st, 2 Sc in next st\*around. SISt to top of 1st Sc. 102Sc (108Sc, 114Sc, 120Sc). Row 5: Ch1, turn. Hdc in next st, and each st around. 25, 28)(or until the entire piece reaches about 6", 7", 8", 9"): Repeat Row 5 Row 20(23, 26, 29): Working in BL only, Repeat row 5. Row 21-24(24-27, 27-30, 30-33): Working in both lo0ps, Repeat row 5. Row 25 (28, 31, 34): Ch1, Don't turn. In same st, 3Sc . 2Sc in next st, \*3Sc in next st, 2 Sc in next st\* Repeat to end. Join with Slst to first Sc. 255Sc (270Sc, 285Sc, 300Sc). Row 26 (29, 32, 35): Ch3, in same st (Dc, ch2, 2Dc), Skip next 4 st, \*in next st (2Dc, ch2, 2Dc), Skip next 4 st\* Repeat to end. Slst to top of ch3. 51 Shells (54, 57, 60)shells. Row 27-29 (30-32, 33-35, 36-38): Slst to ch2 space, ch3, (Dc, ch2, 2Dc) in same space, \*in next ch2 space (2Dc, ch2, 2Dc)\* repeat around. Slst to top of ch3 to join. Row 30 (33, 36, 38): Slst to ch2 space, ch1, in same space (Sc, Hdc, 3Dc, Hdc, Sc), \*in next ch2 space (Sc, Hdc, 3Dc, Hdc, Sc)\* Repeat around. Slst to 1st Sc to join. Tie off.
For Top Ruffle:
Row 1: Join with Sc to FL of any st in row 20, (preferable near turning point), 2Sc in same st, 2sc in next st,\* 3Sc in next st, 2sc in next st\*, repeat around. Slst to 1st Sc to join. Working in Both Loops Row 2-5: Repeat rows 26-29 (29-32, 32- 35, 35-38). Sew in ends to finish.

For draw string:
