Ribbed Eyelet Doll Hat \~

by Morgyn MacLeod This is a cute ribbed doll hat with added eyelets made for an 18" doll (Maplelea Girls, American Girl, Our Generation, Journey Girls, etc). Worsted weight yarn Size 6 (4.0 mm) DPNs (This hat is stretchy so I don't think you need to worry about gauge... unless you knit super tight or super loose!) CO 48 stitches using cable cast-on Row 1-5: Work 2x2 ribbing Row 6: Knit Row 7: (k2tog, yo) until row end Row 8-21: Work 3x1 ribbing for 14 rows Row 22: (k2tog, kl, p1, k3, pl) until row end Row 23: (k2, pl, k2tog, kl, pl) until row end Row 24: Work 2x1 ribbing Row 25: (k2tog, pl) until row end Row 26: Work 1xl ribbing until row end Row 26: (k2tog, kl) until row end Row 27: Knit Row 28: (k2tog) until row end Draw tail through 8 remaining stitches to close top. Weave in ends. \*\*\*Optional: Weave ribbon through eyelets above 2x2 ribbing. Or attach a little flower clip. Or decorate it however you think it needs decorating!!
