After completing all 5 rows of color chart #1, using the MC, knit for 1.25 (1.50, 1.75)" Continue onto color chart #2. After completing the chart, using the MC, knit for 1 (1.25, 1.50)" Create the eyelet band with this increase round: yo,\*K2, yo; rep from\*5 more times, yo \*\*K2tog, yo; rep from\*\* until the end of the round -42 (49, 60) sts. Begin color chart #3 on the back of the hand - the first 20 (24, 28) sts of the round. On the palm of the hand -the next 22 (45, 32) sts, should be worked in St st (knit every st) with the CC, making sure to "float" the MC behind the CC as you knit. Start the thumb gusset after the 4th row of color chart #3 for both the right and left mitts. Right thumb gusset: ·After row #4 of color chart #3, knit 5 sts, pm, kl, pm, k to the end of the round. Next rnd - work chart #3 over the back of the hand, k to marker, sm, M1R, k to next marker, M1L, sm, k to the end of the round. · Knit one round even (working chart #3 over the back of the hand) Repeat the last 2 rnds until there are 21 (25, 29) sts between the markers. · On the next rnd, slip these 21 (25, 29) sts onto waste yarn, CO 3 sts over the thumb gap, and continue in patt.

Left thumb gusset:

· After row #4 of color chart #3, knit 17 (20, 25) sts, pm, k1, pm, k to the end of the round. Repeat as for right mitt Continue in pattern until chart #3 is complete. Knit even around with Mc for 3/4" Decrease 10 sts evenly around using K2tog Knit one rnd even Bo hand using picot bind-off. Thumb: Pick up 21 (25, 29) plus 3 sts from the thumb gap.
