Artemis Cowl
By Jen McVicker

The inspiration for this simple lace cowl came from one of my son's favorite book series: Artemis Fowl. The cowl is a bit dark, a bit twisted, and yet fun and quick to knit - just as the books are fun and quick to read, but have a dark and twisted “hero." Malabrigo Silky Merino yarn is perfect for this project, with its lighter weight and slight sheen. Finished Size: Yarn: 7.75" from cast on edge; 24" circumference Note: You can make the cowl smaller in circumference by casting on 10 (or multiples of 10) fewer stitches. Malabrigo Silky Merino (51% Silk, 49% Merino; 150 yd/137m, 50g skein), 1 skein.
