BRELLA'S MIFFY CHARTS
Miffy is a cute little rabbit from my childhood. You might remember her too, from the popular series of children's picture books by Dutch artist Dick Bruna. With her simple lines and expression, she just cries out for knitrepresentation. Whether you outline her in black embroidery or just leave her in plain intarsia, she'll look great. These charts were originally used with my Generic Mittens Knit Flat pattern to create a pair of Miffy mittens. The 15 sts across each chart were centred within the width of each mitten. If you also make mittens, it's up to you how wide you want yours to be. Use your row gauge and the length of the recipient's hand to figure out when you should starting working each chart in the body of each mitten. Obviously, you can adapt these charts for other objects as well. Scarves, pullovers, hats, bags... Whatever the case, please don't charge anyone money for these charts or for whatever you might make out of them. The rights to these images belong to Dick Bruna, and should not be used for personal profit.
