POMPOM CUDDLE BLANKET
BRIGHT COLORS, FUN TEXTURES AND SUPER SOFT. BY LINDSAY OLIVER
Getting Started:
YARN: Loops and Threads, Pom-Pom. Four balls make a 29"x29" blanket. Easily make a square blanket of any size.
NEEDLES:
Large circular needles (size 10). Gauge is not critical.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash, gentle; tumble dry low.
NOTES:
The blanket is knit at a diagonal, starting in one corner. The entire blanket is knit in garter stitch. If you prefer a different stitch, substitute it in, just maintain the increase and decrease for the pattern. For this blanket two balls were used on the increasing side and two balls were used on the decreasing side. To make a larger blanket, continue to increase until you reach your desired width. Do not try to pull pom-poms through stitches; wok only with the carrier strand between the pom-poms.

Instructions:
Cast on two stitches. Rowl: Knit one, knit two in next stitch (knit in front, then in back). One stitch is added with each row. Next Row: (Decreasing) Knit one, knit two together. Knit to end. One stitch is decreased with each row. Row 2: (Increasing) Knit one, knit two in next stitch. Knit to end. Continue decrease until two stitches remain, bind off. Weave in loose ends. Add tassels on the corners for extra fun. Wash and cuddle. Repeat row 2 until blanket reaches the desired width.
