Instructions:
Before you start - cut 2 pieces of black yarn, 3 yards each, set aside until R6. With Black, cast on 39 stitches. R1: K1, P1 to end, K1 (Begin Seed Stitch) R2-4: Repeat Row 1 (knit the purls, purl the knits)
Make Eyes (Begin Stockinette Stitch) R5 (RS): K10, bo 8, K3, b0 8, K10 R6 (WS): P10, drop old yarn (do not cut!), skip bound off stitches. Attach 3yd length of yarn to next stitch, P3. Skip bound off stitches, attach 3yd length of yarn to next stitch, P10. R7: K10, skip bound off stitches. K3, skip bound off stitches, K10. R8: P10, skip bound off stitches. P3, skip bound off stitches, P10. R9: with a single length of yarn: K10, co 8, K3, co 8, K10 R10: Purl all stitches R11: Switch to Green, Begin Row 1 of Chart (continue Stockinette Stitch) Complete Chart, then continue with green until 17.5 inches from beginning. Change to Black. R1 (RS): Knit R2 (WS): Purl R3-6, repeat R1&2 R7: K1, P1 to end, K1 (Begin Seed Stitch) R8-10: Repeat Row 7 (knit the purls, purl the knits) BO in pattern. Sew side seams, weave in ends.
