A sophisticated shrug that willook great over jeans and a tee, or over a little black dress, the options in your wardrobe are limitless!
Materials:
3 skeins of Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride, approx. $<\!600$ yards., color pictured is Golden Mushroom Size US10.5 needles Directions: Cast on 70 stitches Rich Man's garter stitch: Row 1: WS (k1, s1) across entire row Row 2: (RS) knit entire row Row 3: (s1, k1) across row Row 4 : Knit across row
Repeat these 4 rows for 6 inches, ending on a Row 1 or 3. Cont. in stockinette stitch, adding a 2-stitch garter border at the beginning of each row and the end of each row. Work until total piece,including Rich Man's border, measures 44 inches, ending on a RS (knit) row. Knit Rows 1-4 for another 6 inches. Bind off in pattern. Entire piece should measure 56 inches. If you want your sleeves to be longer, you'll need to add more length to your middle section of stockinette. Lay piece flat and fold over, seam in your preferred method, from the edges (wrists), up 15 inches to make a shrug type shape. Wear with everything!Enjoy!
