Skill Level: Beginning Intermediate Yarn: Intrepid Tulips Sock [75% wool 25% nylon; 400 yds per 100g skein]; 1 skein Sweden, 1 skein Redlover's Red Needles: Four double pointed needles US #3/3.25 mm or size to match gauge. Notions: 2 stitch markers 2 stitch holders tapestry needle for weaving in ends. Gauge: 20 st = 4 inches in stockinette stitch.

Rnd 2: K14 st, k2tog, k2, ssk (18 sts) Work in st st for 1.5 inches or to tip of thumb. Rep (K2tog) 9 times. K1 rnd. Cut yarn, and thread it through remaining 8 sts. Tighten and weave in ends using tapestry needle. Index Finger Pick up and knit across all 10 index finger sts. Pick up and k 1 st in the edge of the hand. Make 4 sts by knitting into the cast on palm sts. Pick up and K 1 st at the edge of the palm. 16 sts total. Rnd 2: K10 st, k2tog, k2, ssk (14 sts) Work in st st for 2 inches or to tip of index finger. Rep (K2tog) 7 times. K1 rnd. Cut yarn, and thread it through remaining 8 sts. Tighten and weave in ends using tapestry needle. Weave in ends and enjoy!
