Materials Needed Vanna's Choice 7oz/340yds/200g/312m White x 1skein Kelly Green x 1skein Scarlet(red) x 1skein Chocolate (Brown) x 2oz Expresso (dark brown) x 1skein Vanna's Glamour 1.75oz/50g(202yds/185m) Topaz (Gold) x 1skein F and G hooks Yarn Needle gauge: Vanna's Choice= G hook = 4dc=1" 2dc rows =1" Note: This hat can be made with the neck warmer or stop after the hat. Either way is great fun for this holiday season HAT Angel Rnd 1: With white and F hook, ch2, 5sc in 2nd ch from hook. Use a placemarker if desired. (5sc) Rnd 2: 2sc in each sc around. (10sc) Rnd 3; (sc tog the next 2sc) rep 4more times. (5sc) Rnd 4: 1sc in each sc around. Slst to join. Ch1(5sc) Rnd 5: 2sc in same st as joining, 2sc in each sc around. Slst to join. ch1 (10sc) Rnd 6: 2sc in the front loop of the same st as joining, 2sc in the front loops of each sc around. Slst to join. ch1(20sc) Rnd 7: 2sc in same st as joining, 2sc in next sc, skip next 5sc, 2sc in each of the next 5sc, skip next 5sc, 2sc ineach of the next 3sc. Slst to join. ANGEL SLEEVES -make 2

Rnd 1: With white and F hook, attach white to first skipped sc, (ch2, 1sc in next sc) rep 3more times. End with ch2, slst to join to connect sleeve . Fasten off and weave in ends.

HALO

Rnd 1: With Gold and F hook, ch6, slst to first ch to form a circle. 12Sc inside circle. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew with. Attach halo to back of head as shown in pictures.

Rnd 1: With G hook and red, attach to the back side of the tree trunk. Ch1, 1sc in backloop as the same st as joining, \*1sc in the backloop of each of the next 2sc, 2sc in the backloop of each of the next sc\* rep from\*to\* around. Slst to join. Ch3 (101sc) Rnd 3: 1dc in same st as joining, \*1dc in each of the next 3dc, 2dc in next dc\* rep from \* to \* around. Slst to join. Ch3 (127dc) Rnd 4-6: 1dc in each dc around. Slst to join. Ch3 (127dc) End of rnd 6 fasten off red.

TREE SKIRT TRIM

Rnd 1: With G hook and white, attach yarn to where you fastened off. 1Sc in same st as joining, 1sc in each dc around. Slst to join. Ch1 (127sc) Rnds 2-3: 1sc in same st as joining, 1sc in each sc around. Slst to join. Ch1 End of rnd 3 fasten off and weave in end.

TREE SKIRT DECORATION

Rnd 1: With white and G hook, attach yarn to an unworked loops from rnd 1 of tree skirt. (the brown loops right before the red skirt) And with hat pointing towards you. 1sc in same st as joining, (ch3,1sc in next sc,) rep around. Slst to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.

CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

Row 1: With G hook and any color to make a box that looks like a present. Ch8, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each of the next 6sc. Ch1, turn. (7sc) Rows 2-6: 1sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn. (7sc) Rnd 1: 1sc around each end of row and in each sc. Slst to join. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew the present to the skirt. Add colored yarn bows. Sew presents to skirt. Make as many as desired and in desired colors. Also make different size presents, just make less chains and less sc rows...

GINGERBREAD MAN

Rnd 1: With brown and F hook, ch2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. Slst to join. Ch1 now you are going to work in rows Row 1: 2sc in same st as joining. Ch1, turn. (2sc) Making arms: 2sc in each sc across, ch4, 3sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each of the next 2ch,1sc in each of the next 4sc, ch4, 3sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each of the next 2ch, 1sc in each of the next 4sc. Ch1, turn. Next 2 rows: 1sc in each of the next 4sc. Ch1,turn. Making Legs: 1sc in 1st sc, ch6, 3sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each of the next 4sc, slst in beg st, 1sc in next 2sc, ch6, 3sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each of the next 4sc, slst in beg st, 1sc in next sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.

GINGERBREAD FROSTING TRIM

Rnd 1: With white and F hook, attach yarn to any st on gingerbread man, 1sc in same st as joining, (ch1,slst) in each st around entire gingerbread man. Slst to join. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew with. Embroider eyes, mouth and buttons as shown in picture. Attach to skirt in desired places. Make as many as desired.

RED OR GREEN PEPPERMINT CANDY

Rnd 1: With G hook and one strand of red or green and one strand of white, held tog, ch2, 12sc in 2nd ch from hook. Slst to join. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew with. Attach to skirt in desired positions

SNOW on green rnds of hat

Rnd 1:With white and G hook, attach yarn to any unworked loop from rnd 1, 1sc in same st as joining, (ch1,1slst) all in each unworked loop around on every other rnd. After all rnds are filled in, fastened off and weave in ends.

GOLD GARLAND on green rnds of hat

Rnd 1: With Gold and F hook, attach yarn to any unworked loop from next unworked rnd on top of hat. 1sc in same st as joining, (ch5, skip next unworked loop, 1sc in next unworked loop) rep around on every other rnd.
