Basic BootySlipper Crochet Pattern for US Toddler Size 4 with Detailed Instructions and Tips

You are allowed to sell what you make from this pattern. For US Toddler size 4 shoe Worsted Weight yarn and F-hook (I used 2 colors but you can use whatever you like) Stitch markers US crochet terms A. Beginning chains DO NOT count as sts. B. Keep moving up your marker for each round. C. Make both soles before starting on the slipper part. D. DO NOT remove stitch markers, you will need these as you progress. E. I would recommend marking down how many double crochets you make on the sides so you can get the same number of stitches on both sides. Ch 12 (A 3 inch starting chain made a 4.5 inch sole for a US shoe size 4) Sole: RND 1: 7dc in 3rd chain from hook, dc until you reach the last chain, 7dc (put a marker in first dc) in last st, dc along back side of starting chain, join to 1st dc. RND 2: Ch 2, 2dc in each of the next 7 sts, dc up to marker (move marker up), 2dc in each of the next 7 sts, dc in each st to end and join to 1st dc. Keep doing Rnd 2 until you have reached your desired length. Fasten Off. Do Not remove stitch marker. Complete other sole before moving on. Slipper Part: Rnd 3: With right side facing you, join new color at ankle back. Ch 2, dc in each stitch around, moving marker up to new row, join to 1st dc. Rnd 4: Ch 2, dc2tog, dc up to marker decreasing 2 times evenly, dc2tog 7 times around toe, dc around other side decreasing 2 times evenly up to the last 2 dc, dc2tog, join to first dc. Rnd 5: Ch 2, dc up to marker, dc2tog, dc3tog, dc2tog, dc in each st to end, join to 1st dc.
