Purple Princess Applique

Materials:
\*Yarn: Worsted Weight (4) light purple, yellow and black \*Hook size: H/8(5mm) \*Tapestry Needle \*Stitches used: (ch) chain (st) stitch (slst) slip stitch (sc) single crochet (dc) double crochet (tr) treble crochet With light purple magic loop 1: 10 sc in loop, pull closed and slst to join round 2: ch 2, (dc,tr,dc) in first st, sc in next, 4 tr in next, sc, (dc,tr,dc, slst), (3 tr, 1dc, slst) in next, ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, slst in same st as last slst, ch 3, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, slst in next st, ch3, 2 sc in 2nd from the hook, sc in the next ch, slst in next st, (dc,3 tr) in next st, slst in next st to finish off. With small amount of black yarn, embroider eyes and mouth using picture for reference. With yellow yarn, stitch a star shape at the top of appliqué. Make ar X with the yarn then make a small stitch from the middle of the X straight up to resemble a star.
