Lengthwise Frill Scarf
Materials
98 yards worsted weight mohair yarn. (Shown in 1 skein Galler Flore II yarn.) 40 yards novelty ruffle yarn (Shown in 1 skein Trendsetter Flamenco yarn.) Needles - US 11/24" circular
Instructions:

Loosely cast on 150 stitches with worsted weight mohair yarn.
Stitch Pattern:
Row 1: Knit Row 2: Purl Rows 3, 4 and 5: Knit Row 6: Change to the novelty ruffle yarn and purl (do not cut yarns) Row 7: Slide the stitches back to other end of the circular needles and purl this row again using the worsted weight mohair yarn. Row 8: Knit with novelty ruffle yarn only (cut the novelty ruffle yarn only) Repeat rows 1-5 twice Repeat Row 6 Repeat Rows 1-5 once Bind off loosely. Weave in your tails. Note: We did not want the mohair to be plain stockinette or garter, so we alternated the stitch used for interest. You can choose to vary the order of the rows if you desire.
