Linen Stitch Scarf Pattern with Kaleidoscope Yarns: A Colorful Merino Wool Accessory Project

Linen Stitch Scarf

Materials

Approximately 4 ounces fingering weight yarn (Shown in 4 skeins - 1 skein EACH 4 different colors - Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino (KPPPM) yarn.) US # 8/24" circular needle Size 4.75"x 82" blocked Instructions Cast on 400 stitches, placing markers after 20 stitches and 380 stitches. Mark the beginning of the round and join. Round 1: Knit to first marker, \*slip 1 with yarn in front, k1 repeat from \* to next marker, knit to end of round. Round 2: Knit to first marker, \*k1, slip 1 with yarn in front repeat from \* to next marker, knit to end of round. Repeat these 2 rounds until desired width of scarf. Change colors at the beginning of round as desired. No need to work in all the tails (see finishing).

Finishing

Knit to first marker, bind off to next marker, knit to end of round. Cutyarn. Pull needle out and unravel the stitches to cast on row. Cut in the middle of the dropped stitches, trim even and finish fringe as desired.
