Vest'd Imagination
by Dee Dee O'Connor
This vest is designed to bring out your creativity..Using a bulky weight yarn, knit the vest in one solid color and use a contrasting textured yarn for the edgings; or knit back in one color and each front in two different colors. You are only limited by your imagination. I've taught this vest in several classes and I've been constantly amazed at what my students havedesigned size 34 (36,38,40,42,44,54) yarn 568 (585, 638, 677, 723, 763, 992) total yards bulky yarn that gets a gauge of 3 sts per inch using 10 12 needle; textured contrasting yarn in the same gauge (optional). Lamb's Pride Bulky and hand-spun were used for the body of the vests in the pictures.
