Instructions:
Foundation Row: With A ch 19 row 1: (start in second ch from hook), sc in back bump of each ch acros, turn(18s Row 2: ch1, sc in first sc and in all sc across, changing color in last st this way: insert hook into st, pull through one loop of working yarn (A), fasten off color A, attach and pick up color B, draw one loop of B through both loops on hook, turn (18 sc) Row 3: ch1, sc in each sc across, turn (18sc) Row 4 - 42: Repeat row 2 and 3, changing colors every 2"d row, finish row 42 in color A and fasten off (18 sc and 21 color stripes) Weave in all ends.
To form the bag:
1. Fold half, ws to ws; you should have one Color A stripe as bottom of bag


2. Rotate folded bag 90 degrees and join B with sc through row 21 and 22 at bottom

tinue to crochet sc through every row (front and back side) to the top of bag (21 sc 4. Repeat sc joining on the opposite side, for a balanced look I suggest to start this time at the top of the bag and end at the bottom (21 sc)
Top Edging:
Join B with sc in same st as bag seam at top of bag side, \*skip 1 st, 5dc in next st, skip 1 st, 1sc in next st\* repeat from \* to \* x 8 omitting last sc on last repeat sl st in first sc. (9 shells 9sc) Weave in ends.

Embellishment:
Holly Berry: Make a magic ring, 2 ch (count as first hdc), 11 hdc in ring, sl st to top of2 ch, fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing on (12 hdc)
Holly Leaf:
IMPORTANT: you will be first crocheting on the top of your starting chain, and then you will turn and crochet along the bottom of the same chain. With B chain 11, start in second ch from hook, work in each st across: \*1 sl st, 1sc, 1 hdc, 1dc, 2ch with sl in last dc, 2 hdc, 1dc, 2ch with sl in last dc, 1 hdc, 1sc, 1 sl st,\* 1 ch (first half of leave is made) repeat from \* to \* on other side of the 10 chains finish with sl st. to first sl st, fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing on (make 2)

Closure of bag:
Cut 2 strands of color A approx. 44 cm/17,5", hold strands next to each other and take your darning needle. Look at row 3 and 4 on front side ( row 39 and 40 on back side). Between both rows you have next to the horizontal pieces of the sts holes. 18 on the front and 18 on the back of the bag. Start at the front of the bag. Insert your needle with the strands in hole 10 from outside to the inside of the bag. Then come back to the outside through the next hole and back again inside through the next hole.
